Wisdom Teeth
Most people get their third molars, or wisdom teeth, in their late teens or early twenties. Often, the jaw is not large enough to accommodate these teeth and they remain impacted under the gum.
Impacted teeth can cause infection and permanent damage to adjacent teeth and jawbone and development of pathological lesions.
Removal of wisdom teeth is easiest in younger patients or before the teeth become a problem. Please contact us with any questions you may have about preventive care for wisdom teeth.
